My NCAA Football Letter - Week 12

Week  11 Recap:

Does anyone else feel that it sucks that the great bowl game losers will once again be representing us in the BCS bowls.  Woohoo…congrats OSU.  Now you can go on and completely embarrass our league again.  We only have ourselves to blame though.  Penn State did not even show up to play.  Iowa should have gone for the last second TD in regular play and/or learned how to throw the ball away.  Ugh, this sucks.

As of right now, here are my bowl predictions.

Title game: Bama and Texas.  That’s right, I’m calling the upset early.  Urban Meyer and the Tebow University Fightin’ Tebows will lose to Bama in the conference championship.  Or at least I would prefer it that way.

Orange Bowl: GT and TCU.

Fiesta Bowl: Iowa is they win, PSU if they lose and Boise State

Sugar Bowl: Florida and Cincy

Rose Bowl: Oregon and those annoying bowl losers.  I would like to see them win and actually have a Big Ten Rose Bowl victory one of these years, but they absolutely suck in the off season.  Maybe this year will be different.  I definitely have more confidence in either Iowa or PSU against Boise State.

Week 12:

2nd biggest college sports rivalry and Pac-10’s biggest game of the regular season (unless AZ wins, then that biggest game of regular season is final week)

Games to watch:

(10)OSU@UM:  UM is gonna be scary good the next two seasons with Forcier.  Maybe this could be an early start and they can get their 2nd conference win of the season.  Next to UNC/Duke, this rivalry is vicious.

MN@(13)Iowa: Deciding game for Fiesta Bowl.

(14)@MSU: Always a great game. We Are Penn State!

(16)WI@NW: I know this is a Big Ten heavy list but this is our last weekend.  If OSU loses and Iowa, PSU, and WI win, then there is a 4-way Big Ten title tie.  I’m fairly confident about three of those outcomes.

(11)OR@AZ: It’s unlikely, but if AZ wins out, they will probably be the ones heading to the Rose Bowl.
